Chris Coble - Owner, Sr Tax Preparer

Chris founded Coble Tax Service in 2012 and serves as the owner and primary tax preparer. With more than 18 years of experience in tax preparation and financial services, he works with individuals, families, farms, and businesses to help them navigate their tax needs.
Before starting Coble Tax Service, Chris worked at The Vanguard Group in accounting and investment management. His experience there provided a strong foundation in financial management and attention to detail, which he brings to his work with tax clients.
Chris earned his Master of Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife of more than 25 years and their three children. He also enjoys reading, watching sports, and golfing.
Audra Coble - Operations Manager

Audra has been involved with Coble Tax Service since Chris founded the business in 2012 and officially joined the team in 2021. As Operations Manager, she helps oversee the day-to-day operations of the business, including office workflow, staff coordination, inventory, and making sure the many details behind the scenes are taken care of.
Audra began her career in healthcare, earning a degree in nursing and working as a Registered Nurse at Chester County Hospital for five years. She later spent 23 years in the pharmaceutical industry, where she gained experience working in a highly regulated, detail-oriented environment.
Audra brings the organization, attention to detail, and experience from her previous careers to her role at Coble Tax Service, where her focus is keeping the business running smoothly and making sure our clients receive the service they expect.
Lorren Atkin - Office Manager

Lorren has been part of the Coble Tax Service team since 2013, beginning in office support and growing into her current role as Payroll & Administrative Manager. Over the years, she has become an important part of the day-to-day operations of the business and has developed a strong understanding of both our clients and our office.
Lorren is a graduate of Millersville University with a degree in Government and Political Affairs. She provides payroll services to small businesses throughout Pennsylvania and Maryland, working to provide dependable and timely service to each client.
In addition to payroll, Lorren is an important part of keeping Coble Tax Service running smoothly. She builds and manages our tax appointment schedules, coordinating appointments by location to make the best use of our preparers' time and travel. She also handles printing and a variety of other administrative responsibilities throughout the year. Her experience, attention to detail, and knowledge of our business allow her to provide dependable service our clients have come to expect.
Joseph D. Bennett - Sr Tax Associate

Joe joined Coble Tax Service in 2018 while completing his Bachelor of Science degree at Millersville University. He came to Coble with some prior tax experience and a strong foundation in business, along with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges. He developed valuable leadership, organization, and communication skills serving as Catering Manager with Legends Hospitality at the Lancaster Barnstormers. His decision to join Coble Tax Service marked a pivotal career shift, motivated by his passion for numbers and a desire to offer clients strategic financial guidance.
Joe's leadership and communication skills have been instrumental in fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. With a client-focused approach, Joe goes above and beyond to ensure that each individual receives personalized and effective tax solutions.
Donald Gay - Tax Associate

Don joined Coble Tax Service in 2024, bringing more than 20 years of experience in financial management, analysis, and business operations. His background includes financial reporting, budgeting, lending, credit analysis, project management, and business development.
Don earned his degree in Finance from Shippensburg University and began his career with the Pennsylvania Builders Association, working in membership development and education. He later spent more than a decade in the banking industry with AmeriChoice Federal Credit Union, where he worked in lending, credit analysis, and financial reporting.
Before joining Coble Tax Service, Don worked as a financial analyst and program manager supporting the Department of Defense. In that role, he managed multi-million-dollar contracts and led a team of more than 40 professionals.
Outside of Coble, Don serves on the Silver Spring Township Pension Review Board and as Treasurer for a local cancer research nonprofit. He also enjoys golfing and spending time with his three daughters.
William Sims - Tax Associate

Bill joined Coble Tax Service in 2017 as the first tax preparer added to the team. A long-time friend of owner Chris Coble, Bill has been an important part of Coble's growth and continues to provide tax preparation services to our clients.
Bill grew up on a horse farm and spent ten years working on a dairy farm, giving him a practical understanding of farming and the challenges that come with running a farm. His background is especially helpful when working with our farm clients, many of whom appreciate his straightforward and down-to-earth approach.
Bill works part-time with Coble Tax Service, primarily handling evening and Saturday appointments to provide additional scheduling options for our clients.
Outside of work, Bill enjoys spending time with his children and supporting them in their various sports. He also enjoys hunting and playing softball.
