Chris Coble, owner and primary tax preparer at Coble Tax Service, brings over 18 years of dedicated experience to his clients. Known for his unwavering integrity and commitment to honest tax work, Chris has built a reputation as a trusted and reliable expert in the field. His dedication to accurate and ethical practices ensures that every client receives high-quality service tailored to their unique needs.

Before founding Coble Tax Service, Chris gained extensive experience in the financial services industry, holding key positions in accounting and investment management at The Vanguard Group. These roles provided him with a deep understanding of financial strategies and the technical expertise needed to navigate complex tax scenarios.

Chris further strengthened his qualifications by earning a Master of Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Chris is a devoted family man. Married to his wife for over 25 years, he cherishes spending time with their three children, often enjoying quality moments together at home. In his leisure time, Chris indulges in his love for reading, watching sports, and golfing, finding balance between work and personal fulfillment.

Audra Coble - Operations Manager

Audra is a dedicated professional who brings a wealth of diverse experience and a strong work ethic to the tax business. Married to the owner of Coble Tax Service, she has played a key role behind the scenes since Chris founded the business in 2012 and officially joined the team in 2021. Her multifaceted background and commitment to excellence have made her an invaluable contributor to the success of the company.
Audra began her professional journey by earning a degree in nursing and working as a Registered Nurse for five years at Chester County Hospital. In this role, she provided compassionate, high-quality care to her patients. Her dedication to helping others and ensuring their well-being laid the foundation for her career.

Seeking new challenges, Audra transitioned into the pharmaceutical industry, where she excelled for 23 years. During this time, she gained extensive experience in a highly regulated and detail-oriented field. Her work required precision, adaptability, and a strong ability to collaborate across diverse teams, all of which she now applies to her role at Coble Tax Service.
As an Office Executive, Audra combines her healthcare and pharmaceutical expertise with her natural leadership abilities to ensure the smooth operation of the business. She is instrumental in supporting clients, streamlining office processes, and contributing to the company’s growth.
Lorren Atkin - Office Manager

Lorren has been an integral part of Coble Tax Service since its founding in 2013. Beginning as a secretary, her commitment, versatility, and expertise propelled her to her current role as Office Manager.

A graduate of Millersville University with a degree in Government and Political Affairs, Lorren also served as a Specialist in the Army National Guard, where she developed leadership skills that drive her success.
In addition to managing day-to-day operations, she also oversees payroll services for small businesses across Pennsylvania and Maryland, ensuring dependable service for our clientele.
With a deep understanding of the business and its operations, Lorren has become a cornerstone of the team, embodying the values that define Coble Tax Service.
Joseph D. Bennett - Sr Tax Associate

Joe joined Coble Tax Service in 2018, bringing a wealth of experience and a strong educational foundation to his role. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Millersville University, where he developed a solid grounding in business and professional skills. Joe's expertise through various leadership positions, each contributing to his comprehensive understanding of team dynamics, organizational productivity, and client satisfaction.

Before transitioning to tax accounting, Joe served as Catering Manager with Legends Hospitality at the Lancaster Barnstormers. His decision to join Coble Tax Service marked a pivotal career shift, motivated by his passion for numbers and a desire to offer clients strategic financial guidance.

Donald Gay - Tax Associate

Don joined Coble Tax Service in 2024, bringing over 20 years of financial management and business analysis experience to the agency. He is a dedicated service professional with a varied background in financial management, financial analysis, budgeting, project management, and business development.
​
He began his career after earning a Finance degree from Shippensburg University, working with the Pennsylvania Builders Association in roles focused on membership development and education. He later spent over a decade in the banking industry with AmeriChoice Federal Credit Union, specializing in lending, credit analysis, and financial reporting.
​
Before joining CTS, Don worked as a financial analyst and program manager supporting the Department of Defense, managing multi-million-dollar contracts and leading a team of over 40 professionals.
Outside of work, Don serves on the Silver Spring Township Pension Review Board, acts as Treasurer for a local cancer research nonprofit, and enjoys golfing and spending time with his three daughters.
William Sims - Tax Associate

Bill has been a valued member of Coble Tax Service since 2017, joining as the first tax preparer added to the team. A long-time friend of owner Chris Coble, Bill shares the same commitment to integrity and professionalism that defines the company. His addition to the team brought not only expertise but also a trusted and familiar partnership.

Coming from a rich farming background, Bill grew up on a horse farm and spent ten years working on a dairy farm. This experience instilled in him a strong work ethic, a deep sense of responsibility, and a practical approach to problem-solving, all of which he brings to his role at Coble Tax Service. His grounded perspective and dedication resonate with clients, many of whom appreciate his relatable, down-to-earth nature.

Bill’s personal life is as dynamic as his professional one. A devoted family man, he enjoys spending time with his kids, enthusiastically supporting them as they participate in a variety of sports. He also pursues his own interests, including hunting and playing softball, which keep him active and connected to his community.

Working part-time with Coble Tax Service, Bill primarily handles evening and Saturday appointments, accommodating clients who need flexible scheduling. His approachable demeanor and commitment to providing accurate, personalized service make him a trusted advisor to many.
